Who I am

I’m Jeremiah James, I’m 19 years old, and I’m from Memphis, Tn. I have 2 older siblings, a brother and a sister. I’m here at Bethel on a football scholarship. I major in Theatre, I chose this major because I love movies. I’m more of an action movie kind of guy. I don’t want to be an actor, however, I want to be more behind the scenes. I want to be a cinematographer. A cinematographer is the chief over the camera and light crews. I find that very interesting. What made me want to do this was the movie Jurassic World. That movie just looked great graphically, and I wanted to be working with the people that work with the cameras of great movies like that. Another series that inspired me was Marvel movies.

I am a sports fan, mainly a basketball and football type of person. I really don't have a favorite basketball team because I'm a huge LeBron James fan. Whatever team he is on, is the team that I like for the season. I've been a LeBron fan ever since I started watching basketball since I was 6. In my opinion he is the greatest player to ever play basketball. Click HERE to watch one of his greatest games ever. I'm starting to not like watching football anymore because my team keeps losing in the playoffs every year. Every year I feel like we have a chance to win it all, but they always fail me. My football team is the New Orleans Saints.

  1. Hey Jeremiah,
It is nice to meet you. I don't recall if I mentioned this in class, but I lived in Memphis for about 11 years myself. I worked at Memphis Boys Town in Bartlett, I earned my MFA at Memphis College of Art, and my wife and I owned a townhouse in Lakeland (in the Stonebridge area near the Galleria Mall). It's nice learning a little bit about you when reading your posts. I look forward to seeing what you produce over the course of this semester.
Your blog looks good. All of the text is legible and the black, purple, and white color scheme pops. I also like how the text is in a font that looks handwritten. I don't know if you're planning to do more, but what you've done so far is well done.
